Project Overview
The Bombay Bicycle Club Hotel (BBC) is the first operational hospitality project of Supra Tourism and serves as a tangible reference for the company’s development and operating capabilities.
The project officially opened on 01 June 2024 and is operated as a boutique hotel combining hotel, restaurant and bar directly at the beachfront in Induruwa, Bentota, on Sri Lanka’s southern coast.

Project Scope & Involvement
Supra Tourism was responsible for the entire lifecycle of the project, including:
evaluation and acquisition of the property
development and positioning of the hospitality concept
design coordination and renovation oversight
regulatory and permitting processes
setup of operational structures and staffing
launch and ongoing daily operations
This end-to-end responsibility reflects Supra Tourism’s owner-operator approach and direct accountability.
Accommodation & Facilities
The hotel operates a small, focused boutique model:
6 Deluxe Double Rooms with direct sea view
3 ground-floor rooms with terrace
3 first-floor rooms with balcony
Room size: approx. 40 sqm
Max. occupancy: 2 guests per room
Facilities include:
Private infinity pool (71 sqm) with sea view
Pool deck (approx. 100 sqm)
Beachside restaurant & bar (à-la-carte)
Spa treatments available
Direct beach access
All rooms and public areas are equipped and furnished with a strong focus on locally handcrafted Sri Lankan materials, including teak furniture, natural stone, hand-made clay and reed elements.
Development & Realisation
The development phase required careful alignment between international hospitality standards and local execution.
Design, layout and material choices were guided by:

durability and maintainability
guest experience
integration into the natural and cultural environment
As a foreign-owned project, particular emphasis was placed on regulatory compliance, coordination with local authorities and sustainable integration into the surrounding area.
Operations & Guest Experience
Since opening in June 2024, Supra Tourism has assumed full operational responsibility for the Bombay Bicycle Club Hotel.
Daily operations include:
hotel and restaurant management
staff leadership and training
quality control and guest experience management
continuous optimisation of processes and offerings
